Studio Intern

JOB OVERVIEW

Join our dynamic photography studio in Savannah, GA, as a Studio Intern and gain hands-on experience in the behind-the-scenes management of a creative business. This two-month internship (~Nov. 25 – Jan. 25) offers an opportunity to work in a bustling studio space, assisting photographers and clients while learning the ins and outs of studio operations. There’s also potential for part-time employment after the internship if it's a great fit.

This is a paid, part-time (~10 hours a week) internship with an hourly rate of $10–$15/hour.

Note: This is a part-time position that requires night and weekend hours, and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

BOOKING SUPPORT

  • Greet photographers and clients upon arrival, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.

  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting during studio bookings to keep sessions running smoothly.

STUDIO MAINTENANCE

  • Regularly clean and organize studio spaces to maintain a polished and functional environment.

  • Perform minor repairs or adjustments to sets, props, and equipment as needed.

SET DESIGN ASSISTANCE

  • Help refresh and maintain existing studio sets to ensure they are camera-ready for every shoot.

  • Collaborate on ideas and assist in creating new props and set designs to enhance the studio's offerings.

STUDIO LOGISTICS

  • Track and organize studio equipment, ensuring supplies are readily available and accounted for.

  • Manage prop storage and keep detailed records to maintain an efficient workflow.

  • Assistance in setting up for studio events and workshops.
