BOUDOIR ON THE BOOKS

So you booked a boudoir session… now what?

Want to maximize privacy?

Book both upstairs studios to limit foot traffic! But bear in mind that the upstairs common areas, bathroom, and dressing room are all still available to other members and their guests.

The Cheshire Cat is our most commonly booked studio for boudoir sessions! It contains a dressed bed, vanity, and curtains for privacy.

While the Queen of Hearts isn’t traditionally used for boudoir sessions, its dreamy lighting and soft palette easily lend themselves to intimate and serene sessions.

Check the calendar

Prior to your booking date, be sure to check the calendar to be aware of other bookings happening before, after, or even during your session. Communicate with your client or model ahead of time if there will be additional members or guests in the studio during your session.

Your vision deserves the floor

The furniture each studio is equipped with can easily be rearranged to suit your vision. Just be sure to return it to the condition you found it in, please!

Pro Tip: Know you’re going to be doing a lot of rearranging and set dressing? Snap a photo of the studio before you roll up your sleeves for easy reference at the end of your session.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! You’re more than welcome to rearrange the space to fit your creative vision. Please be sure to return the space to the state that you found it in.

  • We change and wash the sheets and bedding once a week, not necessarily between sessions. You are more than welcome to bring your own bedding and set dressings.

  • Yes, your studio booking reserves only the studio space. For additional privacy, we encourage you to book both upstairs studios (the Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts). Both studios are equipped with floor-to-ceiling curtains that you can draw closed.

Be aware that should you book both upstairs studios, the common space, balcony, bathroom, and dressing room will all remain available to other members and guests present at the studio.

Please be sure to communicate with your client regarding privacy and bathroom/dressing rooms prior to your session.

  • Typically it’s safe to assume yes, but you can always refer to the studio calendar for all studio bookings.

  • Yes, if your client is comfortable shooting in one of the shared spaces and you are mindful of other members' needs (bathroom, fridge, dressing room). We ask that you check the studio calendar to be aware of other simultaneous bookings.

If there is a family session occurring simultaneously, we ask that you do not shoot in the common areas and be extra mindful of privacy.

  • Should your client or model feel comfortable doing so, you are welcome to shoot out on the balcony outside of Vici Rooftop business hours. Prior to shifting your shoot outside, please check that there isn’t anyone out on the Vici Rooftop as they sometimes host additional events or may be preparing for their day.

We ask that you be mindful that the balcony is a shared space and that other members and studio guests are free to use the space as well.
